I found my Mr. Right
He came knocking on my door
His smile could light the skies
My heart fell to the floor
We had much in common
Adventures we could share
We laughed together often
To him, my soul I did bare
He was strong and fierce
Yet, gentle too
We talked for hours
He was loyal; he was true
We shared the same values
And many a same thought
About the weather, work
And things we bought
He treated me with respect
And showed me love as well
In our future
I could hear a wedding bell
Yet, to my great sorrow
It was not meant to be
For soon I would wake up
And he would be just a memory
